I make the same version with apples. Both are really good! Thanks for sharing. - 10/8/08

I would make this again, and even try it with Strawberries or Apples. I havent verified the nutritionals, but it seems high, as there's not much to this but the pears! Very tasty...my cousin asked for the recipe because she liked it so much, and she usually bakes full fat recipes! - 11/25/07

I made this and told my boyfriend not to expect any bubbly butter fat tasting stuff, just good and sweet yumminess.

He liked it. :) Very light and yummy. - 11/16/07

Easy and delicious! I used 2 cans of pears. I calculated the calories at 9 servings of 158 calories each; the servings are very small. It was a bit dry on top, but just stir it up with the pears. Actually, two cans of pears was not enough; I would double it to make the calorie count worth it. - 10/9/08

I'm printing this out just now, and I'll have to go out and buy pears tomorrow. This is one sweeter thing that maybe I'll enjoy - not to please my DH and cater for his diabetes (he's not keen on pears)! - 11/18/11
