6.0 serving Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 cup1.0 cup, grated Carrots, raw0.75 cup, chopped Onions, raw3.0 tbsp Kerry's Gold Pure Irish Grass-Fed Butter (Unsalted)0.15 cup King Arthur 100% Unbleached White Whole Wheat Flour1.0 cup Half and Half Cream6.0 cup, chopped Broccoli, fresh84.0 gram Cheese, Natural Shredded Cheddar/Jack, Kirkland, 28g (1/3 cup)
Mix veggies and chicken broth in crockpot. Low for 4 hours. Melt butter in a sauce pan and add flour. When clumpy add 1 cup of liquid from crockpot VERY SLOWLY to mixture in saucepan. Then add half and half to the same mixture in saucepan. Stir until smooth then add to crockpot. Turn crockpot to high and add in cheese 1/2 cup at a time letting it melt in between. Add more cheese if desired. Add garlic salt to taste.
