Yammy Sweet Potato Soup

1/2 lb ground turkey, browned and crumbled2 cups water3 cloves garlic, minced1 cup onion, chopped1 cup celery, chopped1 medium apple, peeled and diced2 cups sweet potato frozen or fresh, diced4 cups vegetable broth1 tbsp garum masala (substitute 1/8 tsp each cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, black pepper and coriander)2 tbsp Bragg All Purpose Seasoning (substitute tamari-soy-sauce)
Brown and crumble ground turkey in large sauce pan, set aside.
In the same sauce pan cook the next 5 ingredients in 2 cups of water over medium heat until soft.
Add vegetable broth, garum masala and Bragg All Purpose Seasoning.
Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
Puree until smooth
Add ground turkey and season to taste.
Makes 4 2-cup servings.
