Creamy Leek Soup

Ingredients
1 pound leeks (including tender green part)1/2 c. butter1 c. flour1 qt. chicken broth3 c half and half1 c 2% milk1 c. cooked potatosalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Clean leeks, cut into 1/2" pieces. Steam in microwave with 1/2 c. water, until tender. Puree' undrained leeks,cooked potato, and 2 c. broth in a blender. Melt butter in saucepan. In a jar with a tight fitting lid mix 1 c. flour and 2 c. broth, put on the lid and shake until smooth. Add flour mixture, milk and half and half to melted butter. Cook over med heat, stirring, until thick. Stir in potato/leek mixture. Heat through. Add salt and/or pepper to taste.
