Smashed peas and sausage

Ingredients
Directions
1 bag frozen peas1 package of Turkey sausage1 lb. pasta1 small container of Part Skim ricotta2 tbsp fat free cream cheesebasil red peppersalt pepper2 cloves garlic2 tbsps olive oil
Put olive oil in pan with garlic
Add sausage and break up (or cut it up if subing turkey breakfast sausage) cook until browned
Boil the pasta
Remove sausage and add thawed peas to pan and cook a few minutes and then smash them up a bit.
Add the pasta to the peas (don't dump the water)
Add the sausage
Add the ricotta
Add the sour cream
stir
Add enough pasta water that the pasta the dish is moist and makes a "sauce".
Add Basil, salt, and peppers to taste.
Serves 8
