Dough:2 pkgs yeast2 c. warm water2 tsp. sugar2 tsp. salt4 Tbsp. olive oil3 c. whole wheat flour2 c. all purpose flourSauce:8 oz. tomato sauce1/4 tsp. salt2 tsp minced garlic1/8 tsp. black pepper2 tsp. dried oreganoTopping:4 c. pizza cheese (Cheddar/mozzarella mix)1 c. onion slices1 c. chopped green pepper
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining dough ingredients and knead with dough hook on mixer. Cover bowl with damp towel and allow to rest 30 minutes. Mix sauce ingredients and set aside. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 2 10" pizza pans and divide dough equally in half. Stretch half on each pan, spread with sauce, and sprinkle 2 cups cheese on each pizza. Top with green peppers and onions. Bake 15 minutes, or until crust is brown and filling is hot and bubbly.
