Ingredients
1.0 tsp Cumin seed1.0 tbsp Curry powder1.0 tsp Thyme, ground1.0 tbsp Turmeric, ground2 bay leaves3.0 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw3.0 cloves Garlic0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw4.0 cup, sliced Zucchini1.0 sweetpotato, 5" long Sweet potato3.0 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil0.25 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper1.0 cup *lentils, great value dried
Directions
Soak the lentils in a bowl with water for 15 to 20 minutes. then chop up all your vegetables and put it in a big pot with olive oil on the bottom stirring occasionally on medium/low heat. Adding spices and stir. Then add your lentils to the mix, and 4 cups of water put it on high heat till it boils one spoiled lower and low heat stirring occasionally. Serving Size: 6
