Brussels Sprouts, roasted with balsamic/ honey mustard sauce

2 tsp Garlic powder 1 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 0.25 cup, packed Brown Sugar 6 tsp French's Spicy Brown Mustard (1 tsp) 900 gram Brussels sprouts Aldi's
Trim and cut large sprouts in half. put sprouts cut side down in a very large pan. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer with the top on the pan for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Discard extra sauce. Remove the spouts and transfer to a cookie sheet, cut side UP, with a sil pat or silicone sheet.. (or spray the pan with a quick spray of oil) Roast in a 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes until the sprouts begin to get a nice roasted color. Don't over cook you want the sprouts to be firm.
