Ingredients
1.25 cup Granulated Sugar 0.5 cup Butter, salted - softened2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1.5 cup, mashed Banana, fresh 0.5 cup Buttermilk, lowfat 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 2.5 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Salt
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease bottoms only of 2 (8 x 4 inch) loaf pans or 1 (9 x 5 inch) loaf pan.
2. In large bowl, mix sugar and butter. Add eggs, bananas, buttermilk and vanilla; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt just until moistened. Pour batter into pa.
3. Bake 8 inch loaves 1 hour, 9 inch loaves a 1 1/4 hours, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides of loaves from pans; remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool about 1 hour before slicing.
