Brown Bran Apple Betty

2 cup (1 serving) Kellogg's Raisin Bran Cereal 1 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, salted .25 cup Butter, salted 4 cup slices Apples, fresh with skin 6 tsp Splenda 1 tsp Lemon Peel 1 fl oz Lemon Juice .5 cup hot Water
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Use one pat of butter to butter an 8-10" overproof pan.
Melt the remaining butter and stir into the Raisin Bran.
Combine the apples,Splenda, zest and the juice of one half lemon in a separate bowl.
Put half the cereal in the baking dish.
Then half the apples.
Repeat.
Pour hot water into pan and bake 30 minutes, covered.
Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
