Herbed Croutons I, a variation of Magic Rolls (The Low-Carb Comfort Food ckbk, p.24, 2003)

Ingredients
1 tbsp Parsley, dried2 tsp Basil, sweet, dried 2 Tbsp Butter, Unsalted 4 serving Magic Rolls, medium (See MY SPARK recipes)1/4 tsp garlic powdera little Kosher salt
Directions
Using medium rolls -

Cut the rolls in cubes. (If the rolls are frozen, thaw them slightly.) The cubes will shrink, so cut them about 1/3 larger than the size you would like them to be.
Preheat large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Add EVO and butter. As butter begins to foam - do not let it brown - stir in basil and parsley. Add croutons and stir rapidly to make sure all pieces get coated quickly. Sprinkle garlic powder and salt.
Cool croutons.
Store extra croutons in refrigerator or freeze.
put frozen croutons in a 350 degree preheated oven for 5 minutes to restore crunch.
