BBQ Turkey Burgers

*Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey, 20 oz 1 Egg1 Tbsp. Bread CrumbsQuick Oats (Just enough to bring mixture together)1 tsp. Olive OilPeppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup 2 Tbsp. Shallots diced finely2 tsp garlic1 tsp. McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning (reduced sodium)Mop Sauce:1/3 C. Heinz Ketchup1/4 C. Cider VinegarDash Liquid Smoke (optional)2 Tbsp. Molasses2 tsp. Worcestershire SauceWonder Light-Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns, 1 serving 1 strip Jennie-O Turkey Bacon (Extra Lean)1 slice- Kraft 2% Deli-Deluxe American Cheese Slices (optional)
1. Heat olive oil in small pan. Sautee Red pepper, onion, mushrooms and garlic until tender (but still crisp)
2. Heat grill.
3. Mix together the turkey, oats, bread crumbs, cooled sauteed veggies, montreal seasoning and egg. Make into 6 patties.
4. While burgers are cooking, cook bacon and mix together ingredients for Mop Sauce, let simmer. When burgers are done, top with 1 slice of cheese.
5. Take bun and put 1 turkey burger, 1 slice of bacon (cut in half) and 1 Tbsp. mop sauce. Top with lettuce and tomato if desired!
Tip:
*I think these would also be good if you had a slice of grilled pineapple on the burger as well.
*Play around with different veggies added to the burger.
*Be creative!!
