I already love green beans but these were great. I added some minced fresh garlic and left out the parsley as I didn't have any. - 4/22/08

I make these ALL the time. The blanching is SO essential to getting the proper texture. I also like to add mushrooms and or minced garlic. Love love love sauteed green beans :) - 4/14/08

Very simple and tasted very good! I left out the parsley, because I didn't have any on hand, it was still good. I will make this again. - 4/21/08

My only problem with this recipe is the 12 minute boiling time suggested. If placed in rapidly boiling water, 7 minutes works every time for a cooked but firm bean. - 10/17/09
