Chicken and Mushrooms in Creamy Sauce

Ingredients
1 lb. chicken breasts, cut into strips1/4 cup light butter4 green onions, with bottoms sliced and tops in 1" strips1 small clove garlicsalt and pepper1/4 t. marjoram1/4 t. basil8 oz sliced mushrooms1/3 cup white wine1 T. cornstarch2/3 cup nonfat milk
Directions
Sautee the chicken strips and green onion bottoms in the butter, reserving the tops for later. Season with salt and pepper to taste. When chicken is done, add mushrooms, marjoram, and basil, and sautee until mushrooms are tender. Mix cornstarch with wine, add to pan, and stir until it simmers. Add milk, stir well, and heat through. Throw in green onion tops and stir just until wilted.

This is good served over whole wheat pasta.
