Apricot Oatmeal cookies

Ingredients
1/3 cup cholesterol free margarine1/4 cup brown sugar1/4 tsp vanilla essence1 cup rolled oats1 cup self raising flour or try 1/2 wholemeal SR and white SR flour1/2 -1 cup of chopped dried apricots2-3 Tbs of water or skim milk may need more if using wholemeal flour
Directions
Cream marge, sugar and essence.
add dry ingreidents, mix in fluid and form into
walnut size balls.
Place on tray flotten with a fork
bake 150C 20 min.
makes about 24

    The caloric intake on these cookies is excessive. I think you need to divide the recipe by the number of cookies it makes. Hopefully it is around 2 dozen so the calories per cookie goes down to about 55 calories.... - 9/11/08

    Yes the web poage doesn't allow for a lot of info
    it does make 2 dozen cookies each one weighs 25 gms
    I get annoyed when I can only add in to the recipes 1 cupful and not portion sizes
    We eat them and we are continuing to loose weight presently I am 68.8 only have 2-3 to go
