Spicy Potato Soup

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef4 cups cubed peeled potatoes1 small onion/, chopped3 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce4 cups water2 teaspoons salt1 1/2 teaspoons pepper1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Directions
In Dutch oven or large kettle, brown ground beef. Drain. Add potatoes, onion, and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and the soup has thickened.

Yield 6-8 servings

    This was good, I changed the recipe up a bit and it was delicious. Instead of potatoes I used rice, I also added green chile, lot's of black pepper, cooked the beef in chili powder and LOTS of cheese. Eat w/a tortilla and butter. YUM - 2/2/09

    I made this one exactly as listed. It was INCREDIBLE! Very easy to make, and my family loved it. I thought I would have leftovers for a few days, but it went too quick. :) - 1/14/09

    EXCELLENT soup!!!! cheap, easy, and DELICIOUS!!! I used ground turkey, added a can of rotel, and sweet corn!! YUMMY!!! SOOOO good!!! Thankyou! I also made it in the morning and let it cook all day in the crockpot!!! - 11/12/08
