Turkey Cabbage Stew

1 pound 93% lean ground turkey1 medium onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, minced4 cups chopped cabbage2 medium carrots, sliced28 ox. can no-salt diced tomatoes3/4 cup water1 tablespoon packed brown sugar1 tablespoon white vinegar1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dried oregano1/4 teaspoon dried thyme1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook turkey, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
