Ingredients
2 CUPS DRIED SPLIT PEAS 8 CUPS WATER2 ONIONS, CHOPPED2 STALKS CELERY WITH LEAVES, CHOPPED4 CARROTS, CHOPPED1 BAY LEAF2 TSP SALTPEPPER (TO TASTE)
Directions
Rinse Peas, chop onions & carrots, add everything to the pot and bring to a boil. Lower temp., cover, and cook on low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Remove bay leaf and puree. Especially good (and good for you) when topped with cheddar cheese cubes. Yum!
