choesterol lowering breakfast

Ingredients
* 1 cup Rolled oats * 3 cup skim milk or more, depending on the desired consistency of Kheer * 2 tsp Psyllium husk (Isbalgol, Metamusil-unflavoured) Psyllium Husk * 1 Carrot, small, finely chopped * 10-15 almonds, skin removed, and grated * 10-15 Raisins (Kishmish) * 1/8 tsp Cardamom powder * 2 tsp Sugar or to taste
Directions
* Soak rolled oats and raisins in 1.5 cup milk for 5-7 minutes.
* Boil remaining milk in a skillet with carrot for 5 minutes. Add soaked oats and raisins of step 1 with milk and boil for 5 minutes.
* Add psyllium husk, almonds and cardamom powder and mix.
* Serve warm or cold.
