- Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
Directions
1/3 c. hot water2 T peanut butter3 T powdered non-fat milk2 t sugar1.5-2 t. cocoa powder (unsweetened)1/4 c. raisins1/2 c. dry old-fashioned oats
Measure the hot water into a cereal or soup bowl. Add the peanut butter. Using a spoon, mush the peanut butter around to soften it and start to mix it with the water.
Add the powdered milk, sugar, and cocoa powder. Mix rapidly with a spoon or fork to break up any cocoa lumps and get everything to combine smoothly.
Add the raisins, stir until they are coated, then add the oats. Stir until oats are thoroughly coated. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds, then stir again. The bars can be eaten at this time.
If you want to store these bars for future meals, lay out two pieces of plastic wrap. Place half the mixture on each piece, flattening slightly into a bar shape. Wrap each piece and store in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months. To thaw, remove from plastic and reheat in microwave 15 seconds at a time until desired warmth.
