Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf

Ingredients
2 oz butter/margarine3/4 c granulated sugar3 overripe bananas, mashed1 egg1 level dessertspoon honey1 1/4 c whole wheat flour2 level tsp baking soda1/4 c skim milk1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add mashed bananas and mix well. Add unbeaten egg and honey and beat thoroughly. Sift flour. Dissolve baking soda in the milk. Fold the flour and milk alternately into the creamed mixture. Lastly add chocolate chips. Bake in well greased loaf pan (8" X 4 1/2") in a moderate (350 - 375 degree) oven for approximately 50 minutes, or until toothpick comes clean. Serve with butter.
Makes 8 1" slices.
