Cinnamon Apples (baked)

Ingredients:2 granny smith apples, cored1 Tbsp brown sugar1 Tbsp raisins1/6 tsp cinnamon1/12 tsp nutmeg1/4 cup hot waterUtensils:Apple corersmall bowlsmall baking/loaf dishset of tongs (to remove apples from pan)measuring utensils as needed
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. In a bowl combine sugar, raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. Place apples in the small baking dish.
4. Stuff each apple with half of the sugar mixture.
5. Add water to bottom of pan.
6. Heat apples for 20-30 minutes or until soft but not mushy. Baste several times.
7. Allow to cool briefly. Can be served with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt (not factored into recipe).
Makes 2 small apples.
