pierogie dough

Ingredients
1-1/2 c water3 tbsp oil1 egg4.5 cup flour1 tsp salt
Directions
wisk egg
add oil and water--mix well
add flour and salt--kneeding well and adding the last cup slowly until dough is smooth and soft.
Cover with lightly oiled plastic wrap and let rest for 20 min. (the dough may be frozen at this point for future use)
Roll out, thinner than for pie crust and cut into 2' squares. fill with your faveorite filling.
We love saurkraut or cottage cheese and even prune!
Boil each pierogie for about 5-7 min or utill they float.
Makes 8 dozen pierogies
