Slow Cooker Tuna Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
*No Yolk Broad Noodles, 8 oz (remove)1/3 cup water (or broth if desired)*Low Fat Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 cup (remove)Peas, canned, 1 cup (remove)Onions, raw, 2 tbsp chopped (remove)starkist chunk light Tuna in water (3 oz), 2 serving (remove)Parsley and garlic to taste
Directions
Combine cream of mushroom, milk, water, onions, peas, and seasoning. Cook noodles until just tender. Fold noodles and tuna into mixture. Cook in crock pot on LOW for 5-6 hours. Garnish with bread crumbs or desired topping. Enjoy.

(my husband loves this... I don't eat tuna)

    I made this by subbing in a box of whole wheat rotini noodles and 8 oz. of albacore tuna. I was also confused by the milk? I used 1 cup milk and 1/3 cup water.

    Right before it was done I put in a cup of shredded cheese and let it melt for 5 minutes. It was delicious! Comfort food. - 11/28/12

    Taste was a little bland but not bad. Had a nice texture. A little confused on the milk, so we didn't actually add it. Next time though we may add some cheese for fun. Thank you for sharing this! - 12/17/08
