Hemp Energy Bar

2 cups toasted oats1.5 oz dried unsweetened cranberries1/2 cup natural apple sauce1/3 cup Maple syrup1/3 cup pumpkin seeds, crushed1/3 cup almonds, crushed6 tbsp hemp seed1/2 cup hemp flour2 tbsp ground cinnamon1 tsp vanilla extract
Makes 30 small squares
Toast oats in the oven on a flat sheet at 300F. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl, and add oats once toasted (10 mins). Transfer to a 9x14 baking pan and use another pan to press the mixture in very well. This is important in order to make sure the bars stick together. Bake in the oven at 275F for 20 minutes, then allow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from the pan. These squares are full of healthy stuff, but they are high in calories, so no going for seconds!!! Enjoy!
