Low Fat Granola

Ingredients

3 cups oats1/4 cup flax seed1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp salt1/3 cup maple syrup, sugar free1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce2 tablespoons honey1 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 300 F
- Mix all dry ingredients
- Mix wet ingredients and add to dry, tossing to coat.
- Spread mixture evenly over large baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes, or until toasted, stirring occasionally.
- Allow to cool entirely before storing in air tight container.
Makes around six 1/2 cup servings.
