Mom's Banana Loaf

Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening1 cup white sugar2 eggs (well beaten)2 cups flour1 tsp. baking soda1/8 tsp. salt2 banana's, mashed1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt. Add bananas and nuts.
Bake in a large loaf pan for 45 minutes at 350 deg. or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Makes about 20 80-gram slices.

Serve in slices. Tastes wonderful with a little butter spread on the slice.
