lentil barley potato soup

Ingredients
1 cup barley1.5 cups red lentils2 lb carrots1 heart of celery3 small onions3 cloves garlic30 oz potatoes2 Tablespoons canola oilspices
Directions
dice all vegetables and sautee
add lentils, barley and diced potatoes
add water or vegetable stock to 12 quarts
add spices
simmer for 45 minutes
