Gorbanzo Vegi Soup

Ingredients
Canola Oil, 1 tbspOnions, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped Garlic, 1 tsp, mincedCarrots, raw, 1/2 cup, choppedCelery, raw, 1/2 cup, diced Pasta Shells - Small- 7 ounces per package Peas, frozen or fresh, 1/2 cupChickpeas (garbanzo beans), 1 cup, cannedLow Sodium Chicken Broth, 12 cupssalt to taste Basil, .1 tsp, dried
Directions
Sautee the onions and garlic in the oil for two minutes.
Add celery and carrots sautee for 3 more minutes stirring frequently.
Add pasta, peas, chickpeas, broth, salt and celery
cook to boil, lower the heat and simmer for half an hour.
Makes 12 cups
each serving is about a cup.
