* Brummel & Brown, Original Spread made with Yogurt, 1 Tbsp, 5 serving * Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped * Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced * Bumble Bee Whole Oysters, 1/4 cup/56g, 8 serving ---(2, 8oz. cans) * Milk, 2%, 4 cup * *Flour, white, .20 cup --(3Tbl.)
In 2 quart sauce pan--melt 3Tbl. margarine. Add celery and onion and saute for 5 minutes. Add oysters. Simmer till vegetables are tender. Add milk.
Melt 2 Tbl. margarine--Add flour to make a rue. Add to hot milk and stir to thicken.Remove from heat and add any salt if needed and pepper to taste. Skim milk may also be used. Makes 6-7--
