Cran-Choco Muffins

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups flour1/4 cup sugar1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt3/4 cup fat-free buttermilk6 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce1 egg1/4 cup walnuts6 T. semi-sweet chocolate chips1/2 cup craisins
Directions
Makes 12 standard muffins

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter standard muffin tins.

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, applesauce, and egg. Pour into dry ingredients, add the nuts, chocolate chips, and craisins, and stir just until blended.

Spoon into prepared muffin pan, filling each cup about three-quarters full. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 15-17 minutes. Cool in muffin pan about 5 minutes.
