Channa Dal, 0.75 cup Water, tap, 3 cup canola oil, 2 tbsp jeera seeds (cumin seeds), 1 tsp dried red chili, 1 chili broken in halfbay leaf, whole, 1 leafcloves, whole, 2 clovespepper corn, whole, 2 each.haldi (turmeric powder), 0.25 tspSalt, .5 tsp Granulated Sugar, .75 tsp
Directions
*Soak channa dal for 1 hour in 3 cps water
*heat oil in pressure cooker
*add all ingredients
*Pressure cook for 3 whistles, turn heat off and allow steam to release on its own.
