Hearty Apple Oatmeal Protein Pancakes

Ingredients
1 c old fashioned oats3/4 c whole wheat flour4 tbs ground flax seed1 tsp baking soda3/4 tsp baking powder1/2-3/4 tbs salt.75 tbs any oil (coconut, olive, canola)2 scoops protein powder (vanilla is good) 2 tsp cinnamon1/2 large apple choppedsplenda or sugar to taste
Directions
put oatmeal in large bowl with 2 c water. Cook until soft. Then add protein powder. Whey protein works great. Add flour, eggs, splenda, salt, baking powder, baking soda, flax, cinnamon and chopped apples. Add more water until mix is a gooey, thick texture. Cook on greased skillet like pancakes. This recipe should make 12-13 thick pancakes about 4-5 inches in diameter.
