Date Balls

Ingredients
5 T. butter1 c. sugar2 eggs, beaten1 1/2 c. dates1 t. vanillapinch salt2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal1 c. pecans3 bottles red sugargreen icing
Directions
Melt butter. Add eggs and sugar. Cook until slightly thickened. Add nuts, rice krispies, and dates. Take off heat and mold like strawberries. Roll in red sugar. Use green colored icing to make a leaf and stem.
