Lentil and Barley soup

Ingredients
1 cup lentils50g pearl barley750mL vegetable stock1 tsp mixed herbs1 bay leafsaltpepperdash garlic flakes
Directions
Soak lentils if required. Mix lentils, barley, vegetable stock, herbs and seasonings. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, then let simmer until barley and lentils are completely soft. Remove bay leaf before serving.
