Ingredients
Ground Beef 93% Lean, 1 poundOnions, raw, .5 cup, choppedGarlic, 2 clovesShredded Cheddar Cheese, 1/2 cupInstant Oatmeal, 1/2 cup dryDiced Green Chiles, 4 oz can
Directions
-Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate it for about half an hour (helps flavors blend and allows oatmeal to for a better bond with the hamburger meat).
-Form 6 patties and cook them in a pan sprayed with non stick cooking spray.
-Cook them until done, then sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
-Serve on the bun of your choice (don't forget to add the bun and condiments to your meal plan).

    I didn't have any cheddar, so we added a piece of american cheese to the tops. I thought they were delicious, but my family isn't so hot about the onions. We'll definitely use this one again. - 1/17/11
