Smoked Sausage Cabbage Bean Soup

2 cups of chopped cabbage1 cup chopped carrot1/2 cup each of onion, celery, tomatos, sweet pepper, red kidney beans2 cups of chicken broth2 bouillon cubes2 cups of water2 oz of any kind of pasta3 red potatos chopped2 links of smoked sausage2 teaspoons of cajun seasoning - increase to 3 if you like it hot.
Bake In the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes the onion, tomatos, peppers with a small drizzel of EVOO and generous Salt/Pepper. This sweetens the veggies.
In a big pot heat the rest of the ingredients, add the above veggies and simmer on low for 2 hours - or until the potato is tender.
