Chicken a la King (1/2cup=1serv)

Ingredients
3 lbs Frozen Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breasts, thawed and cut up in pieces2 qts Water 8 oz fresh Mushrooms, sliced4 TBS Butter, unsalted2 Green bell peppers, sliced and cut up2 Red sweet bell peppers, sliced and cut up1 medium Onion, chopped3 cans (10.75 oz) Cream of Chicken soup1 can (10.75 oz) Cream of Mushroom soupSalt, to taste1 tsp black Pepper
Directions
Boil 2 qts of water and add chicken pieces. Boil until cooked through. Reserve 2 cups of broth.

Saute sliced mushrooms in butter until almost cooked well, then add red and greeen peppers and chopped onion. Continue cooking until almost soft, crisp. Add all cans of soup and stir well. Salt and pepper to taste. Heat through.
Serve over whole wheat breat or rice.
Makes 24-1/2cup servings.
