Ingredients
1 cup Rice, short grain or sushi1 cup water1/2 Tbsp Kosher salt (equal to 1.5 tsp)1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar1 Tbsp sugar (equal to 3 tsp)
Directions
Combine rice and water in a pot, and set to boil on high heat. Once it come to a boil, cover and reduce heat to low; cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 10 minutes.

Combine salt, sugar and vinegar in a microwave proof bowl. Microwave on high for 30-45 seconds. After the rice is done resting, add the vinegar mix, stirring well to make sure it is evenly distributed.
