Banana oat bread

Ingredients
1/3 cup Shortening3tbsp light margarine3/4 cup sugar3/5 cup egg beaters (3 eggs)1 cup ww flour3 cups oats1.5 tsp baking powder0.75 tsp baking soda3 ripe bananas
Directions
cream sugar with shortening and marg. Add egg sub. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl then mix into egg mixture. Add mashed bananas. Pour into 2 loaf pans

Bake @ 350 for 45 - 50 min, until done.

    Not bad, a little dry when eaten "as is," {but I'm sure a dollop of butter would help :-)} Just made the recipe and am eating it warm. It does seem that 24 servings is trying to cut the loves a little too fine, though. Wonder how this would taste w/ raisins and cinnimon? - 3/21/07
