CROCKPOT Mediterranean beef stew

Ingredients
1 LB lean stew meat 2 zucchini, sliced2 C fresh green beans1 cinnamon stick1 tsp Greek seasoning2 Cans Italian tomatoes
Directions
Layer all in a crockpot starting with meat and ending with tomatoes. Turn on high for one hour, then low for 6-7 hours or until meat is tender.

    Great Recipe! I too slightly adapted the recipe with what I had on hand. I used corn and Italian seasoning and put in yellow and orange peppers. The red of the stewed tomatoes, corn, and peppers made the dish ovely to the eyes. and quite tasty. I had to brush my teeth to keep from going for seconds. - 4/4/09

    So easy to throw together, and so delicious. Even my picky son had seconds. I used thyme and oregano instead of the greek seasoning, and used italian stewed tomatoes. The cinnamon stick really added a wonderful depth of flavor. We had it over egg noodles. - 4/2/09

    I added about a 1/2 cup peas I had in the freezer and a used canned green beans and stopped the cooking a couple hours earlier than called for and it is very, very good - 4/22/09
