macaroni with ground meat

Ingredients
1/4 c eevo1 onion finely chopped1 large garlic clove finely chopped16oz ground beef1/2 cup red wine3 tbsp chopped fresh italian parsley2 tbsp chopped fresh basil14oz can chopped tomatoes including juicesea salt and ground pepperpinch of red pepper flakes8 oz penne, rigatoni or macaroni pastagrated provolone or romano
Directions
4 servings
1. saute oil and onion in heavy skillet on medium for 3 mintues.
2. add the garlic and saute for 1 minute
3. add the meet and cook about 5 minutes (until just loses redness)
4. add wine, cook 10 minutes
5. add parsley, basil, tomatoes, salt, pepper, red pepper and simmer for 20 minutes.
6. add cooked pasta to sauce and serve.
