maple pecan flapjack

Ingredients
100g course chopped pecan200g granulated sugar200g maple syrup150g margarine500g rolled oats (dont use jumbo oats)
Directions
place sugar, margarine and maple syrup in a big saucepan. heat untill all the sugar is dissolved and the liquid is quiet a dark caramel colour. take off the heat and andd the pecan and oats. mix really well. place in a lined dish approximately 30cm by 15cm by 6cm dish. bake at 180C until golden on the top. whilst hot scour the top into 24 piece. allow to cool for 20 mins then cut full through where scoured. allow to cool fully before removing from dish. i recommend greasing the lining paper because it can stick
