Banana Oatmeal Waffles

Ingredients
2 cups quick rolled oats2 cups water1 medium banana, peeled and sliced1 Tbsp honey1/4 tsp salt1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix until smooth. Let stand 3 minutes. Thin with water if needed. Pour into heated waffle iron and cook as per waffle iron manufacturers instructions.


Makes about 3 servings - 2 waffles per serving.

    i made these as directed, however i did add in 2 T of flax meal. these did NOT cook. the outside gets brown and crispy but the inside stays pretty gooey. would not reccomend. - 10/12/12
