Raisin Bran refrigerator muffins

1 20 oz. box of Raisin Bran5 c. flour (whole wheat)2 1/2 c. sugar1 T. plus 2 tsp. baking soda1 tsp salt4 large eggs1 qt. buttermilk1 c. shortening, meltedopt'l, 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Combine first five ingredients. Then add the last three ingredients to the dry mixture one at a time.
Cover and chill for at least 8 hours or over night. This will last up to 4 weeks in your refrigerator.
Bake in greased muffin pan at 350 degrees for 20 min. Serve hot any morning.
