Mexican Layered Salad

Ingredients
4 c. torn romaine1 large cucumber, peeled, halved and sliced3 medium tomatoes, chopped2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and sliced2 large green peppers, chopped1 1/2 c. fat free ranch dressing1/4 c. canned chopped green chilies2 tsp. chili powder1/2 t. onion powder1/4 t. garlic powder1 c. crushed baked tortilla chips1/2 c. reduced-fat cheddar cheese
Directions
In a 2 qt. trifle bowl or glass serving bowl, layer the first five ingredients. combine the dressing, chilies and seasonings; spread over the top. Sprinkle with chips and cheese. Serve immediately.
