BARBECUE SAUCE WITH MUSTARD===========================(Servings: 6) Ingredients:------------ 1/2 cup Sugar 1/4 tsp Ground oregano1/2 tsp Ground thyme 1 tsp Salt1/2 tsp Pepper 1/2 tsp Cornstarch 1/2 cup Vinegar1 cup Molasses 1 cup Ketchup1 cup Prepared mustard 2 tblsp Oil Instructions:------------- Combine first six ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir in enoughvinegar to make a paste. Combine molasses, ketchup, mustard, oil andremaining vinegar; add to herb paste. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat; cool completely. Pourinto a glass jar; cover tightly. Store refrigerated for up to 3 months.Baste over chicken, turkey, ham or hot dogs.
