1 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup all-purpose flour2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt1 1/2 cup 1% milk1 large egg or egg beaters1/4 cup finely chopped walnutsPam Spray

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl, except the walnuts, stirring as little as possible while removing large bumps in mixture.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto hot griddle using a spoon or a ladle, sprinkle walnuts atop and flip when bubbles appear and the bottom is lightly browned.
Continue until batter is used up.
Yield: 2 per serving
