1/2 cup Splenda for baking1/2 cup Splenda brown sugar for baking1 tsp salt1 tsp baking soda3 large egg whites3/4 cup white flour3/4 cup whole wheat flour1 cup shortening3 cups quick oats
mix all ingredients (except flour and oats until creamy) add flour gradually until creamy. Then add oats. Batter should be very stiff, enough to roll into logs. Separate the dough into 3 logs, roll each log about 8 inches long and wrap in wax paper. Refrigerate for about 1 hour. Slice off cookies, about 1/2 inch each. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes. Splenda seems to make cookies burn quicker?!?! Makes 48 cookies.
