1 avocadoJuice of 2 key limes1/4 tsp. salt1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped1/2 plum tomato, seeds removed and chopped1 large scallion, green and white parts, choppeddash tobasco sauce1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)
Remove avocado from skin, discard seed. Combine in a bowl with lime juice and salt. Mash together to desired consistency. Stir in cilantro, tomato, scallion, tobasco sauce and garlic if desired. Cover tightly with plastic wrap to keep as much air out as possible and place a lid on the bowl. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
